Capture the whole page, not just what fits on screen.
Pageful is a browser extension for Chrome and Edge. It scrolls through a page and saves all of it as one image. It is free, it needs no account, and nothing you capture leaves your device.
Coming soon to the Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons.
What it does
Long pages
Captures from the top of the page to the bottom. Very tall pages are saved as several images, and the result says so.
Mail, docs, and chat
Finds the area that actually scrolls, such as a chat thread or an inbox, and captures that.
Images that load late
Scrolls through once before capturing, so images and sections that load as you scroll are there.
Headers shown once
Headers and footers that stay on screen appear once, at the top and bottom, instead of repeating.
Clean joins
Checks the pixels where screenshots overlap and removes the duplicate rows, so seams do not show.
Clear messages
When a page cannot be captured, it says why and what to do next. A partial capture is always labeled as partial.

Privacy, in plain terms
- The extension makes no network requests. There are no analytics and nothing is uploaded.
- It cannot see any page until you click its icon, press one of its shortcuts, or choose one of its items in the right-click menu. Then it can read and scroll only that tab, until you leave the page.
- It asks for four permissions: activeTab, contextMenus, scripting, and storage. It asks for downloads only if you turn on automatic downloads.
- Captures and history stay in your browser until you delete them.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Capturing a whole page or part of one, cropping, stamping, copying, and every download format are free, with no account. A paid Premium tier with extra features is planned, but nothing that is free today will become paid.
Do I need an account?
No. The extension has no sign-in. The waitlist on this page is optional and only collects an email address.
What does it do with my screenshots?
Nothing outside your browser. Captures are stored on your device so you can find recent ones again. You choose how many to keep and for how long, and you can delete them all at once.
Why can some pages not be captured?
Chrome and Edge block extensions on their own pages, such as settings and the extension stores, and in the built-in PDF viewer. Apps that draw on a canvas, such as Google Sheets, only render what is on screen. In each case the extension tells you why and suggests what to do instead.
A capture looks wrong. What can I do?
On the capture's page, select Copy diagnostics, then report the page. The diagnostics include the page address only if you choose to include it.
What are the keyboard shortcuts?
Alt+Shift+S captures the whole page. Alt+Shift+E lets you pick part of the page to capture. You can change both on your browser's extension shortcuts page.
